- Standard legal "I do" declarations only and pronouncement of marriage
- Signing of marriage license
- A warm meeting to solemnize your marriage. no ceremony, no personalized vows, no sharing your own vows
- Arrival to meeting location at designated time
- Usually 5-minutes or less from start to finish
- Same day availability (pending scheduling)
- Signing and filing your marriage license

Payment: Payment due in full prior to "I do" meetup via Zelle or Paypal. For same day bookings, full payment is required at booking via cash or Zelle.

Add-Ons & Enhancements
Extended Ceremony Time — $50 per half hour
If your ceremony runs over the agreed upon time, no problem! For ceremonies requiring additional time on-site, Hitched by Obie assesses a $50 overage per half hour (30-minutes). Your marriage license cannot be signed until overage is paid in full, as applicable.
Rehearsal — $100
A rehearsal helps ensure a smooth, seamless ceremony.
Includes:
- Walk‑through of the ceremony flow
- Final adjustments to the script
- Coordination with your wedding party
- Rehearsal typically lasts 20–45 minutes
Your ceremony marks either the beginning or the renewal of a lifelong partnership. Relationship & Pre-Marital Coaching sessions help to strengthen your union with aligned understanding, open communication, and shared purpose.

Local Travel
- $75 travel fee within a 60‑mile radius of Columbus
- $150 travel fee beyond 60 miles
Destination Ceremonies
Obie is available for ceremonies across the country and internationally. Destination packages include:
- Ceremony fee
- Travel (airfare or mileage)
- Lodging
- Per diem
- Custom quotes available.

Payment & Booking Policies
A non‑refundable 50% retainer is required to reserve your date. This retainer holds your date on Obie’s calendar and allows him to begin preparing your ceremony.
The remaining balance is due 14 days before your ceremony and may be paid via Zelle or PayPal.
For bookings made within 14 days of the ceremony, full payment is required at the time of booking.
For same‑day O'Lopements, Just the Two of Us Meetups, or urgent bookings, Zelle or cash only may be accepted at Obie’s discretion.
Services begin once the retainer has been paid and the Ceremony Agreement has been signed.
Same day cash payments are not accepted for standard bookings unless agreed upon otherwise.
